Photo Competition Offers Chance to Win a Trip to Samoa or Tonga

Budding photographers will have a chance to test their photography skills and possibly win a trip to Samoa or Tonga through a calendar competition recently launched by the Ministry of Pacific Island Affairs.

Prizes: The 13 best pictures will appear in the 2011 MoneyPACIFIC calendar and the winners will receive a $100 prize from Westpac NZ while the photographer whose photo is selected for the calendar cover will receive a return airfare to either Samoa or Tonga with Air New Zealand.

Eligibility: The competition is open to all photographers, amateur and professional. Photographs must have Pacific community, church, school or family groups at their heart and must be taken either in New Zealand, Tonga or Samoa.

Deadline: August 31, 2010
