Paris Hilton's Boyfriend Runs Over Photographer

October 1, 2010 /PN/ Paris Hilton and her boyfriend Cy Waits are involved in an alleged hit-and-run incident. The incident occurred as the couple were surrounded by paparazzi as they were leaving Boa night spot in West Hollywood on Wednesday evening.
Paramedics were called to the scene to treat photographer Carol Williams, while Waits claims he was unaware that he had hit anyone. He reportedly returned to the scene later without Hilton, as soon as he was alerted to the incident via text message.

"There might be some charges against the paparazzo because they were blocking the street," Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore says. "When you cause that kind of impediment it could actually be a felony. We're going to be looking into the whole thing."
Photographer Carol Williams has spoken out about the clash, insisting she shouldn't have been "out in the middle of the street" in the first place. "I'm taking responsibility for my actions in the whole thing. It was a freak accident. My foot was in the wrong place at the wrong time, " Williams tells in an interview for E! News.
She also defended Waits' decision to speed off following the scrape, telling TMZ.com: "After he rolled over my foot, he rolled the window down and asked if I was fine... someone else answered for me and said 'yes' and he drove off."

Waits may also be facing a misdemeanor charge from the incident, says spokesman Whitmore, adding that at some point they will interview Paris as a witness.
Paris Hilton, meanwhile, is putting the blame squarely on the photographers. "Lovely evening with friends and family ruined by aggressive paparazzi," she tweeted after the incident. "They are literally insane!"

Ouch that had to hurt! I think it was actually just an accident but we live in a society which has to place the blame on someone. But who gives a d*** about Paris Hilton anyway? Another celebrity with no brain, and a minus quotient in the talent department... does she actually do anything useful or interesting? I think Carol Williams acted graciously in accepting blame, there was no need for PH to call the photographers 'aggressive paparazzi'. She should take responsibility for her own emotions. If her evening was ruined, then it's because she chose to ruin it.

These so called celebrities would be so upset if the paparazzi did rush to photograph them! I totally agree with Anne Darling

Streets are for cars, silly paparazzi!
Stay on the public sidewalk if you don't want to get hit.
