NYC Exposed! FreePhotoCourse.com announces Call For Submissions to New Online Photography Exhibit.

January 16, 2011 /Photography News/ How does one visually depict the energy, romance and in-your-face reality that is NYC?  The popular digital photography tips and tutorials website, FreePhotoCourse.com, has launched a new photography challenge to its visitors and has announced a call for submissions to their new “NYC Exposed” online exhibit.

The vision is to create a new online gallery that is as much about personal perspective as it is about New York City.  It's about creating a body of work represented by a variety of visual landscapes that best embody the NYC spirit.  For a visitor, it could be an interesting take of Lady Liberty or of Times Square.  But for a New Yorker, the answer might have more to do with a favorite part of Central Park or a gritty but interesting looking alley.  No matter what the perspective, they’re all valid and seeing them all together in one place will be an awesome journey showing how the City means different things to different people.

Contributors whose work is selected for this web exhibit will receive a personalized certificate of achievement for being part of what will eventually become an ongoing international project, as well as an online presence recognizing their photographic skill.  Whether you live in the Big Apple or have visited, you may have photographed something that is uniquely New York.  If so, you may want to submit your best image!

Photographers wishing to participate in this call for submissions can find out more by visiting FreePhotoCourse.com’s website and following the links to the “NYC Exposed” page or go directly to: http://freephotocourse.com/nyc-exposed-photo-exhibit.html to get the criteria and submission details.
