Profotio Call for Entry: 2nd Annual "Childhood" Photo Contest
August 13, 2011 /Photography News/ Childhood is such a unique and fleeting time. It can be a time of wonders and challenges. It is definitely a time of experiencing and learning. Submit your images that best represent this momentous occasion. All photographers 18 years and older are invited to participate.
Prizes:
First Place winner will receive the following:
$300 cash prize
The winning image will be featured on the Profotio.com homepage slideshow
Second Place winner will receive the following:
$200 cash prize
The winning image will be featured on the Profotio.com homepage slideshow
Third Place winner will receive the following:
$100 cash prize
The winning image will be featured on the Profotio.com homepage slideshow
Eligibility:
All countries accepted. Images may be submitted by all photographers (professional and/or non professional.) Entrants must be 18 years or older.
Submission details:
Submit up to 4 (four) images. Both black & white and color photos will be accepted.
Judging:
Wining images will be selected on the following criteria: 25% credit to adherence to theme of contest 25% credit to originality of thought 25% to artistic interpretation 25% to photographic skills. Images will be evaluated by the Profotio staff judging committee. All decisions are final.
Notification:
All winners will be notified via email within 7-10 days after contest ends. At that time each winner will receive instructions on acceptance of their award(s). All cash prizes will be paid via Paypal™ or AlertPay™ only. Winning entrant has 30 (thirty) days to claim prize.
