Judges’ Statement:
By definition a reflection is a mirror image of something or someone. It is basically a pseudo representation of reality. However some reflections can offer the stark truth more candidly than the original image itself. We can be drawn to a reflection to contemplate and are sometimes engulfed and consumed. Sometimes our eyes can be tricked or deceived as in a mirage. The winning images that were selected best exhibit these characteristics of a “Reflection.”
